JSS was a perfect replacement. Unfortunately Neal Schon had issues. I’ve heard Schon’s ego was not liking how accepting JSS was with the fans compared to him.

He doesn't have a high enough tenor to sing Journey songs. But he's a good singer.

Hard to believe they ditched JSS. Arnel, even in the beginning of his tenure, was/is a level or two below JSS.
